Acoustic Zen Adagio Speakers in stunning maple burr.

The asking price is £950. If they do not sell on here then they are going on eBay.

I purchased these secondhand from a HiFi enthusiast in 2013. He purchased them new 3-4 years earlier.

They are in immaculate condition as you can hopefully tell from the photos and I am selling them with the custom outriggers (as seen in the phots).

They are large speakers and weigh 80lbs each and I do not have the original boxes I'm afraid. I would prefer collection only (from Nottingham) and will ensure that I have plenty of bubble wrap for whoever picks them up.

You may well not have heard of Acoustic Zen before (they are American) but the reviews of the Acoustic Zen Adagios are universally fantastic and I have really enjoyed having them. They are a two-way transmission-line system featuring a 1.5 inch circular ribbon tweeter and dual 6.5 inch midrange/woofer "underhung" voice coil, ceramic-coated drivers.

They work well with valves or solid state amps. I am selling due to an upgrade to Audionote speakers.

That’s a lot of speaker for the money. I think you should do a photo without the covers on to fully display them in all their glory.

I have to confess that I'm having trouble seeing AudioNote speakers as an upgrade!

But it's not me that's doing the listening.

Glws, they look like great speakers. Best get them quick before the seller changes his mind.

The burr maple boxs would cost you that without putting anything in them .. lovely wood veneer

i own Acoustic zen and would not sell them with another 1k in front 4,5 k speakers new , but thats not the reason the reason is there sound and musicality my fav speakers i have owned , if i had a spare 1k ide buy a second pair .

I have owned two pairs of these. One pair was upgraded by Response Audio. Excellent speakers. Well worth the money.
