I don't know about you guys but I have various bits of useful but low value hifi stuff knocking about here. So my thoughts are that with no used hifi stall this year I would have a box in my room with the various sub £10 bits in and any money raised going into the charity bucket at the end of the day.
Stuff I can think of off the top of my head are:
2x 0.5m basic coax
2 into 1 powered Coax switchbox
Various m6 spikes and spike shoes.
I'm sure there's more bits about if I look.

Anyone else got any low value hifi Tat to clear??

Great idea John - I have various odds and sods that fall into that category and will bring them along.

Same here - all sorts of cables, a lot of AV ones as well as audio. I'll have a dig around and see what I can drum up

I've got some stuff I'll bring along.
Probably including some very nice but a bit tatty PSB headphones at £20, plus cables etc etc.
That OK?

Perhaps the more significant items should be handed over with a price ticket already on?

I was mainly thinking about other exhibitors having their own box of odds and sods in their room. Though I'm sure those of us running a charity shite box would be happy to throw some non-exhibitor bits in it aswell to spread stuff out and increase the range of useful tat available.

I guess I was just thinking of filling in the void of the "equipment charity sale" that isn't happening this year.

Maybe some exhibitors would be happy to host a Charity Sale Table in their rooms?

When I used to run a charity sale in the days of the Scalford show I just left a bucket for folks to leave money in. It always seemed to work fine and didn't require much attention.

But it's probably too little, too late to do this properly.

@JANDL100
Jerry, wasn't having a, pop at you mate, happy for you to stick stuff with me. Just wanted to make it clear that I wanted others to also have a Tat sale in their rooms where possible. Rather than me spending the Sunday manning a burgeoning pile of tat in my room instead of running my system.

Okay spent a fair part of today sorting out my little stach bag of bits of tat etc and here is a list of what I am bringing . Some of the items might be deemed good enough to add to the raffle list so may not be in my room on the day will try and make sure things are updated before the Sunday .

Bag full of DNM wire and RCA leads . Some are working some need to have new phonos soldered on
Various Optical Leads including two Monster cable TOSLINK leads
Various USB cables including splitters to power two items from a single power source
BNC / Phono Adaptors
Lots of bagged power leads all standard
Long RCA phono cable about 4/5 mtr (this is a guess) single cable but could be chopped into usable lengths
Assorted Wall Wart Plugs 5 V including an official Raspberry Pi
Assorted Wall Wart Plugs 12 V
Some odd Wall Warts in different Voltages
2 x Optical / SPDIF switches one with a headphone output with Wall Wart power supplies
Little Bear T8 MM/MC Phono Pre Amp
LiTe DAC-AH R2R DAC using 8 x Phillips TD1534 Chips as the resistive Ladder
Some odd cable such as 5 pin Mini Din for I2S connection between Perpetual Technology units

May well find a few additions by the time the Show gets in to gear . All of the above is open to offers / donations to the charity . The Wam Team have first choice on anything they want to move to the raffle .

All I can say is I have now doubled the items for this with a very kind but large donation of items from @garn63 . Have to admit not aware of some of the kit but that is all part of the fun .

Look you lot out there John has spoken and you should never argue with a man who owns two bricks it can have very grave consequences . So search that cupboard / box / bag / under the bed / loft and dig out some tat your not using and either bring it your self or as @garn63 has done with me give it to someone attending and it will get displayed and hopefully sold and just swell the coffers for a great charity .

If you really can not let go of your accumulated detritus then fine I am the last one to judge but instead come to the show bring lots of cash and buy some more tat (I mean quality items) and fill those spaces.

Does kit count as tat?

If so, I have a Sony CDP-791, Tuner STJ75 and a JVC Cassette Deck DD-5, I'm happy to donate. All working, at least they were a few months ago.

The proviso is that someone will have to pick them up - I live nr Stroud and just a few miles from J13 M5.

I won't be able to make it this year due to being a cripple. :D

Give me a pm if interested.

My tat box will be in Room 243 and will contain at least the following items:

- Simple Audio Roomplayer (with manual), I removed the amp board to help power my actives but the player can be made into a stand alone streamer by installing additional firmware (there is a thread describing how in the Wam somewhere).

- Silver Crest "multi room streaming adapter" still boxed.

- 3 off ILP HY60 amplifier modules - these need the addition of a suitable 25V+25V PSU and plugs/sockets to make them into single channel class AB amps (a stereo amp + a spare module in case of magic smoke events?). Data sheet included. These modules apparently work pretty well - I never assembled enough round tuits to find out.

- 2 off Nobsound NS-10G Pro stereo class D amps (not the later model that had Bluetooth) complete with mini jack-to-RCA cables. These need a suitable PSU - max 24V - to run them. Cheap & cheerful amps that might form the basis of a shed system, boombox etc.

- 2 off TPA3116-based class D amp boards - need PSU, box etc. Nominally 100+100W - yeah right.

- 2 off TAS 5611-based class D amp boards - need PSU, box etc. Nominally 125+125W - yeah right.

- Miscellaneous cables.

There is likely to be plenty of tat in my room, though I prefer to call it 'my system'.
All very well but I suspect that none of it will be available for a donation . If you change your mind then the DAC is mine .

I have a vinyl copy of Esperanza Spalding's - Chamber Music Society, played just once.

Median price on Discogs is £50.86, so I suggest £40 is a reasonable price, all money will go in the charity bucket.
