Advice please

I am looking to get some advice after I inherited this kit and was hoping you can suggest the best place to get the kit valued?

Can you start by giving us an exact list of the items - make and models? This looks like a whole system from somebody. The more details the better. Photos only go so far.

Do you intend to sell it? And here on this site, which would be better value than eBay? You would indeed need to give a price for each item to list it here.

If you have any paperwork to clarify when purchased that can help. And original boxes make huge difference as if you can ship, and then your market is much bigger. Local pickup is much more limiting.

Look to be some interesting bits. Hifi Shark lists current sale and sold items, and eBay can be filtered to show completed sales. Both can be helpful, though I have a hunch some of these bits are pretty rare.

I can’t see the tonearm or cartridge on the TMS3 but these can go for upwards of 6k, the Minimax is a nice phonostage around £400, the Pathos MK2 is around 2k as it’s unlikely to have the DAC built in hence the Belcanto DAC.
The Cyrus looks like a CDi so around £250 if not skipping and with remote.
The other items I’ve not had much dealings with but the Roksan TMS3 is the star, subject to tonearm and cartridge.

If selling is your plan, I suggest you refer to HiFiShark and use Search to see a list of similar items for sale. This site can't be used to sell stuff but it gathers together ads from around the world (you can filter Europe for exanple), so you can easily value your stuff.

Then advertise it on this site or perhaps better on HiFiForSale.com. I've bought and sold plenty of stuff there and there are no fees involved. As always, take care to avoid scammers. Good luck. Peter

Yes, it’s there regardless of wether the DAC card is fitted or not

The Minimax Phono is quite rare 2nd hand these days most people who have one are apt to keep hold of it Cos it's damn good.

The new price of £1700 means you could get about £850 to £1100 depending on condition,age, & valves fitted I guess.

I’d say that’s a very optimistic valuation
