Hi audio friends,

I’m replacing my Majik 140’s with Akurate 212’s mk1. I’m using an Exaktbox-I. I’ve managed the migration of the 140’s from passive to aktive myself. Butt there was a walkthrough with some photo’s in my possession at the time that made it easy. Now I want to do the same with the 212’s and I’m searching the web for some visual support. I’ve reached out to the Linn helpline, they refer to a dealer.

That’s not necessary at all I know for a fact. Is there anyone out there in the possession of the documents with photo’s that take you through the migration step by step? Thanks a million!

Simply put, swap the plug positions and make sure that all connections are removed from the outside of the connection panel so that there is no short circuit.

While it's true that you're welcome to attempt the Aktiv conversion yourself, I'd suggest finding a retailer willing to work with you on performing this conversion, if only to have someone there to double-check your work so you don't inadvertently blow any drive units or damage the electronics.

Thanks Peter_P everything works just fine. Quite an upgrade from 140’s aktiv to the 212’s aktiv. Let the fall begin with heavy rainfall so I can re-listen my music collection in peace.
