Hello, I have for sale a beautiful pair of Alchris speakers. These are as new, I cannot find a mark on them and I have the original box for posting. These are astounding sounding speakers which I bought to replace a pair of ruark sabres, they are a significant upgrade - made by Alan Clark, formerly of Kralk speakers. Alchris is his new venture:

I’ve had quite a few standmounts over the years and these are the best I’ve heard. They have that quality that high quality speakers have, of encouraging you to increase the volume! They sound great at normal volumes but are also very revealing. They hugely increased the quality of my digital streaming, this goes to show speakers give the best bang for the buck! (Rasberry pi4, justboom dac hat, quad vena). They remind me of Proac’s. There is a review here which sums them up nicely:

I bought them from a chap on pink fish as new, he had not used them. We are moving the hifi from a small room to a much larger one hence the sale. I would like £400 plus postage, which is what I paid. For the money they are an absolute bargain and compete with the normal suspects which would cost a fair chunk of cash more. I’ll probably go down the Alchris route again when I start looking for bigger speakers but that will take some time.
The grilles also magnetically attach to the sides of the speakers. Genius! I don’t know why all manufacturers do this.
They are veneered in real walnut.
