Sunday evening. Mellow mood. Spinning Chris Rea, “Road to Hell”. Sounding good. Gazing out the window at the trees I planted as saplings 20 years ago towering into the sky. Dream car in the driveway. Orange tones of the sunset tingeing the sky. Chores done for the day. What could be better than this feeling?

Looks like your life is full of wonder, and your reflection on all you have built and accomplished providing great satisfaction and contentment.

We are so blessed, compared to so many people.
Ah yes the difference between contentment and happiness. The former lasting longer than the latter!

My Linn journey started over 20 years ago. It was nothing real high-end, but for me it was. 2AV5140's, an AV5120, 2 Tukans for the home theater. Another pair of 5140's for the family room with a Classik. Fast forward almost 20 years later and I bought a Majik, Mimik, and a pair of Keilidh's at an estate sale. I bought these to flip, so I spent a little money and some time cleaning them all up and made a little money on them. I have since downsized house, so no more home theater. I kept the Classik and one pair of 5140's. I recently bought a Linn Basik TT and was so blown away, I am now having an LP12 built (low-end build). Will be completed next Wednesday. First thing I will spin is going to be Norah Jones. I Can't wait.
