Hi Everyone

Here's another turntable that has to go. The Solo was the next step down from the legendary Sonata and shared several design aspects with it. This deck is in superb condition as can be seen from the photos and has benefitted from new cap/resister to ensure spot on revolution. The arm board is cut for a Linn but I can provide one cut for the arm of your choice.

Here are the specs. courtesy of Vinyl Engine:

This is one of two owned by me and I'm asking £200.00 for it (Paypal F and F) plus carriage- UK only I'm afraid. Any queries, please PM me..

Cheers
Chris

Hi, what a stunning turntable. I presume this version doesn't come with the separate PSU? Would it be the same price with a Rega cut arm board?
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy

No it doesn't have the separate psu- I understand the separate power supply originally cost about the same as the turntable. I've replaced the internal supply with all new items- which Rega arm are you looking at? The original one hole fixing or the later with the three mounting holes in addition to the central 25mm hole? I wouldn't charge for this.
Any other queries, please let me know.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the quick response. I've not actually got an arm yet but thought a good Rega specimen would be easier to get hold of than a Linn.
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy
I'd always go for a Rega- preferably a 250 which is superior in performance to the 300. The cheaper Linns (LVVLVX/Basic etc) aren't the best performers in my view. Either way I wouldn't have a problem in supplying the correct arm board.
Cheers
Chris

Hi
I'm in Cheshire just south of Stockport. I always welcome pick up if possible for turntables- for obvious reasons!
Cheers
Chris

Hi
I see you are in Kent- a little too far away for a pick up!
Cheers
Chris
Yes, a bit far and courier is a last resort. I was looking to buy for a friend ( I have another ‘build me a system’ request) but I know that he has quite a few 45’s. Am I reading it right that this would be 33rpm only?
