This one concentrates on how the lacquers are cut and discs pressed. I actually found it interesting, so thought I’d share it. I especially loved the claim around 16:50 in, where it is claimed that the record rotates more slowly nearer the groove, “something like 18rpm” I think he says. LOL. This guy is a “mastering engineer” but constant angular velocity seems to have escaped him. I did wonder if he was confusing it with CD, which rotates faster nearer the centre - constant linear velocity.
He does sum up the whole process around 28 minutes in, “it’s a wonder it works at all”
