I was lent one for a month by Rob Sinden at Gecko Audio.
I was using it to drive a set of Neat Ultimatum XLS speakers. I was using a Classe 2100 amp, so this was what I was comparing it to.
The Lyngdorf had a crazy amount of power and drove the Neats with ease. It also had absolutely zero noise in the sense that no hiss at all come from the speakers even if turned up to max volume and you put your ear next to the tweeter.
A very nice amp but didn't gel that well with the Neats as the sound was too harsh for my ears compared to the Classe. I think the Lyngdorf retailed at 11k and Rob was after £6k for the ex demo one. He may still have it now?
Maybe with warmer speakers or in a slightly treated room it'd work well.
