Anyone come across Eilan Jewell ?

Heard Eilan doing a version of Summertime and have to say it is hard to do standards and make them your own . Have to be honest never heard the name before but found that she had done quite a few albums just not sure what to expect with the rest of her catalogue .

She's great. From the same school of alt-country as Gillian Welch, Lucinda Williams, Mary Gauthier etc. Bit of a desert country tinge to some of her stuff.

Thank you for your advice but I am retired with a very poor pension and with over 65,000 ripped songs plus buying 8 to 12 cCD,s a month when would I ever get to listen to streaming ? Plus when I trialed Tidal and Qobuz lots of what I searched for was missing so not convinced that I need let alone want any of the current streaming services .

But you did not think it thoughtful to mention that and you said I could afford a little expense . Well I was being honest and said what my situation is and now it is implied I am being ungrateful .
