Anyone fancy a bakeoff?

I've got the green light for a bakeoff in mid September, based in south west Sheffield (S8) I can accomodate 2 fairly large systems with a bit of furniture rearranging, there may be a chance of a thrd smaller setup. Anybody interested? It would have to finish around 7.30-8pm as we have a toddler who will need some quiet when the family arrives home at that sort of time.

Probably accommadate 15-20, its a big house but seating is the limiting factor, start time around 11am. I have my quad esl speakers and some other budget kit for system 2 upstairs. System 1 in the lounge diner can be fairly big as we have 30' by 13' to play with.

Post on here if you fancy it and I'll try to finish organising it (talk to neighbours, etc), sorry I can't put people up as the house is already full of my kids!

Just tell them it's happening, apologise in advance, and wait for the noise nuisance letter from the council. Works for me every time.

I could tell you how to do it, but then I'd have to k....... Oh hang on. Neighbours are a pain in the arse. Just invite them to join in. Then when they see how many beardy or bald weirdo's are sharing their oxygen, they will find a reason they need to go home, quickly! Or just get them sitting next to SeasickonasofaSteve :D

Not posted very much on here but a long time lurker (a little more active in the 'other' places). Was just thinking earlier it'd be nice to get along to something like this, so it's a happy coincidence this has come up.

Also Sheffield-based, in S6, so if there's room at the inn for a stranger I'm definitely keen.

Could potentially bring my Invicta DAC along if there's interest.

Cheers!
