Just got a new "toy" one of J7's (Audio Origami) illuminated magnifying glasses £8 + P&P.
Immediately after opening the packaging the stylus on my Cartridgeman Music Maker was being scrutinised, I had thought it was clean, however the lense told a different story. 10 minutes later after using an original 1970's Sure V15 stylus brush & a thin piece of dry Magic Eraser (original, not soap filled) the accumulated grunge from the cantilever & cantilever well was gone as was the build up on the stylus.
I do not know if it will be audible but it must prolong the life of the vinyl grooves.
