Come and hear or borrow the wonderful IDEA's at Lotus. These are doing rather well since I took delivery of my demo pair and they seem to mate very well with quite a wide range of equipment.
Seen here next to their close relative the Ascendant, you'll spot their tiny footprint and form factor. Very room tolerant and good in small, medium or large spaces. They are also cheaper than the old Ascendant but better in every way .... more neutral, more open and transparent, even less cabinet, a bigger wider sound with more bass and the sheer resolution at this price range is quite stunning. The usual Avalon strengths of eveness, refinement, tone, texture and soundstanging also apply. £7900 available in walnut, cherry and maple.
