I don't actually know anything about AVI so obviously I need to;

A:- get out more

B:- read more Hi-Fi mags

C:- try and be the slightest bit interested

D:- read a wider variety of peoples posts on forums

E:- visit a dealer or 2 (not done that for a few years now)

F:- go to a Hi-Fi Show (not done that since...hmmm, don't know, oh yes, when Absolute Sounds introduced Sonus Faber range)

No time for AVI, when my biggatrons drivers got cooked by a faulty amp, were of no help and told me the drivers were no longer available and to chuck em and buy the later version, the red spot.

The trons were 6 months old, i ended up getting replacements from Wilsmlow audio and did the job myself.

So its taking the piss from me.

AVI are very helpful when they can help. Looks like they dont support old products for long though.

But option 2 is just not valid, since they will continue to sell separates and consider them better – but for a price.

which is very naughty.

my understanding is that a manufacturer has an obligation to provide spare parts for seven years after the product is discontinued.

or is that just for washing machines?
