I am doing a bathroom install as part of refurbishing my bathroom. It's not an audiophile set up but it'll be better than a radio.
The plan is to install:
2x JBL MS6200 in the ceiling, these are marine speakers
Amp: T-amp something like Amptastic TA-2020 (awaiting amptastics new kit) which will be located in what used to be an airing cupboard, which will be sealed.
Source: Apple airport express for airplay
I don't want to leave the T-amp on 24/7 so I am looking for ideas on how to turn it on and off remotely...
I don't want to link it to the lighting circuit.
I don't mind leaving the airport express on 24/7.
So I am looking for something which can sense as audio signal coming from the airport express that can act as a relay to turn on/off the T-amp.
Does anyone know of such device? or how this could be accomplished?
