Would these be the 81s you mentioned?81 = Philips/Valvo 6201 (df6)
83 = Telefunken
IMO ofcourse, using 6201s in my Lector CDP & TFK 83s in my dac & PS.
Don't currently use any 82s.
Can't see a df6 batch code, (not sure what difference it makes as have only used df6) but other than that yes.Would these be the 81s you mentioned?

No , Philips Miniwatt/Valvo/Amperex 6201 have gold pins and you should look for Df6 codes meaning these were made in Hamburg factory , great 10k hours tubes but rare and you'd need to pay probably around £100 and above for a pairWould these be the 81s you mentioned?

Think you can still find them used.It’s an Ei 12AU7 (ecc82) made in the former Yugoslavia. It is no longer made now.
The 82s aren’t that expensive anyway, but Strewth, the 83s, may have to sell one of my livers on the black market!Substitute the ecc82‘s for Phillips JAN 5814a or 5814a GE ’s .Those EI’s are excellent but the 5814a’s are Superb tubes ! Not stupid prices either ..
