I frankly don't care who is at fault. They are in a definable order in the Qobuz app. The Bluesound app displays all the relevant information, plus album artwork. It has the name and artist available, so the database information is there.
I understand your point but other streamers may have similar issues.

On Qobuz can you put the albums in order by artist?

In the Qobuz app, you can order by date added, title, or artist name. I assume the BlueOS software only accesses (or has access to) the first. I'm no database guru, so I have no idea what's involved in linking to the actual music stream, whilst rebuilding the artist/album info.

Possibly Qobuz simply aren't letting external apps access some of the database info, but if so, that's a bit poor, because anyone in the same situation as me is paying a Qobuz subscription to access it.

A few on EverSolo forum, are complaining about can only arrange Qobuz fav. by album title. I suspect Qobuz don't have the resources to develope some these features. A bit like Amazon who are not interested in developing the BluOs App., have you tried Amazon on your Node? I did and it was the worst out of all the ones I tried. Qobuz connect may come soon, that may solve your issues.

Sorting in Qobuz for non native apps has been a problem for very many years. This is mainly down to the Qobuz API

A few years back a work around I used was to log out from Qobuz on the BS app. Then use the Qobuz web page access to sort favourites, then log out of that and back in on the BS app. Sounds more of a faff than it is. It certainly worked back tnen; no idea if it still does.

Of course, using Roon you can sort, filter and search in any way you like and probably in ways you didn't know existed!

For best sound, should I use an optical or co axial cable to connect a Node 2i to an Audiolab cd/dac?

If the Node is connected to your wifi and sees the internet then its indicator light goes solid blue. So your Node isn't able to connect to your wifi for some reason.

What instructions are you following?

I seem to remember that previous Node models could have a problem if there was already a wifi network registered in their settings. I don’t know if that could apply in this case, but a factory reset could be tried.

I would assume this. By 'recently aquired', if you mean it's second hand, then it would presumably have been already set up for wi-fi. You'll need to RTFM to get it to connect to a new network.

RTFM. Old computer saying (read the effing manual) ;)

The Node won't just 'connect' to wi-fi automatically, because presumably you'll have to tell it which network to connect to, enter the password, etc. I haven't looked up the 130, but I would assume (I may be completely wrong) that it's like the 2i, in that you need to run the BlueOS app and set up the wi-fi first.

I just have a quick set up leaflet,no manual
Bluesound don't provide much in the way of printed manuals. Instead, you'll need to go to their website and find what you need.

You'll find instructions there and possibly also a discussion of your issue as you're unlikely to be the first person to have encountered this issue.

I note that Bluesound has just rolled out BluOS v4 and it's not gone well at all.

Indeed, there are some users, including me, who suggest that rolling back to V3 would be a good move.

Any one here had any issues related to V4?
