Been looking at cables and leads on e-bay and http://www.hififorsale.com

What do forum members think is the "RIGHT PRICE" to pay for used run in cables ?

Hard to say....some hold their value better than orthers regardless of it's preformance! Kimber = 60%, VDH = 40%, Atlas = 35% etc if you know what i mean, Dave.

What does that poll mean?

Does it mean that if a I/C has a RRP of say £100.00 what percentage of that is the price I am prepared to pay, or what I think it is worth, or what I would expect a s/h one to cost or what?

Difficult to answer DW but 60 per cent or lower of the RRP is the normal rule of thumb like most second hand goods. It depends on a number of criteria such as age, brand etc.

A man of your calibre you know this Dave. Did you fancy a spot of cable debate fishing this morning perhaps? Nothing else to do?

Well, my local electronics shop sounds perfectly good cables for under a tenner (the same brand that performed better than expensive nordost wires at a wigwam bake-off
