CD repair

Hi

Does any of you chaps no of a good CD repair man based in the Surrey/Kent/Sussex area's,I think it is the laser on my Doge player,which has a philips transport.

You could try John Caswell, who is near Reading. I dont have contact details. Some one on the Wam should be able to help. If it,s a Philips transport / laser best of luck.

I seem to remember reading that it uses a VAM12 mech, which is very available, but Doge modded it somehow.

more than likely a vam 1202/ 12 martin also used in lots of other Chinese players shanling , e sound etc not the most reliable mech but still easy to pick up , cheap and fairly easy to change !
