Chord Company GroundAray - £550

Has anybody tried this product? It's from Chord Company - they are known for hifi cables - it's not the same company as Chord Electronics.

Anyway apparently you plug it into unused sockets like USB sockets, DIN, BNC, RJ45 or even XLR and it sucks out high frequency noise from the circuitry and makes your hifi sound amazing. £550 a pop, and I believe that's for one, so if you want ones with different connectors then the cost is going to mount up!

Can mods merge this trollthread with one of the ones posted a year ago.

The mods are discussing more appropriate suggestions, most of which revolve around the notable number of links to other sites being posted, especially when other sites do not offer reciprocal links, thereby potentially helping their search engine ranking (and potential revenue) at the cost of 'ours'.

At this stage, nobody is playing 'conspiracy theory'. Yet.

I would’ve seen no problem at all in someone adding the video to the existing thread. (I actually watched it yesterday and it’s an interesting confirmation of the unanimous cries of “foo” when these were announced.)

However, I’m pretty sure the OP’s sole intent was to stir up more measurement related drama. They would surely have seen the existing thread highlighted when posting.

Looked at the attached thread.

Sad thing is, no constructive comments, just slagging off.

I thought this was a HiFi forum to discuss, not slag off.

I’ll start the discussion. I’m going to try these, they look quite interesting and get good write ups on other Forums.
