Question Classifieds - can I post this?

Is it OK to post something in the classifieds to check potential interest, without going straight to a ‘for sale‘ ad?
I’ve done this on PFM but not sure if I can do similar on the WAM.
At the moment, the amp isn’t for sale but very likley to be when my new Quad amp arrives.
