Question Contacting a fellow wammer

morning all
I expected to be able to find the answer in the ‘terms and rules’, but this doesn’t appeared to be covered, unless I’m looking in the wrong place.
Question; if I‘m aware that a fellow wammer is specifically looking for an item which I have but which I’m still undecided whether I will sell it or not, am I permitted to send said wammer a PM asking if they’d like me to let them know if I decide to sell (effectively this would amount to advance warning of an imminent for sale ad).
Is this against the rules?
The indecision on my part is whether I’m going to sell this particular item or its bigger brother. One has to go!

I’ve been messaged a few times in this way and it’s always welcome to know if a fellow Wammer has something that might be of interest. My only caveat is be wary of messages when you’re offered an item by someone with no forum history as has happened to me as it can mean a scam.
