I have currently a Dali Sub K-14F connected to an Anthem MRX 510 and would like to add a B&W ASW600 to the system, but have no idea how to deal with the connections.

The Dali is connected to the Anthem by a single pin into the "Sub" socket (section 16) of which there is only one
The B&W has no connecting lead at present (I will have to get one)

Looking at the diagrams below, can you advise me how to connect both subwoofers to the Anthem, bearing in mind that I was born with no aptitude at all for this sort of thing and that, in my youth, I once blew up an amp by connecting the mains where they had no business to be, which has left me once bitten, thrice shy. Many thanks for your help and understanding.

It looks like the connection identified as LFE (E) is the signal input on the Dali. I’d use a simple Y splitting cable or adapter plugged into the sub output on panel 16 of your amp to feed the signal to you two subs

Many, many thanks. I trust you mean this: but ...

but ... that's fine for re-linking the Dali, but the B&W doesn't have a single pin socket, so what kind of lead would I need to go from single male pin to dual ... dual what? Please specify, my wife has confirmed that I am really, really stupid (but she won't do the connection either!)

I think the LFE identified RCA socket in the first diagram labelled E could be a mon line input …check with your instructions

ive found the manual so ……

https://www.dali-speakers.com/media/3476/sub-e-12f_usermanual_g_web.pdf

page 9 outlines the connection options

you connect the left Sub output on your amp via a single rca lead to your sub following the details in 4.3 and repeat fir the other sub.

where are you in the uk …..if there is a wammer near you etc they might offer to help you out
Many thanks, I'll look into the manual and see if I can make sense of it.
I am in London (Wandsworth) so there should be something not too far. I'll keep you posted.
Thank you again.

Using the splitting Y cable you initially suggested offers what could be an easy solution; there is in the B&W instructions a "figure 3" I had not included previously (please see below) where, provided the Anthem can be regarded as what the diagram calls the "Decoder", the splitting Y can be connected to the Anthem Sub Out and one end lead to the Dali Sub (as it is now), and the other to the B&W Sub Line in.

Do you agree with the diagram below?
