If you keep watching, he goes on to actually prefer the use of an analogue preamp into passive speakers without digital conversion - not what he was expecting.Zzzzzzz digitizing vinyl, lost interest right there.
Lost me at the first one!Had to switch off after the 94th “inner idealist”
Yes and make him money.I don't get this type of review , One persons thoughts , Is that supposed to influence us , And did you notice
the Patreon link , After some money , Huummm
Exactly… he has two fleshy appendages on the side of his noggin and an opinion, very much like we do here… the fact that he chooses to share this via YouTube is great and fair play to him if he makes money from it too! Nobody is forcing us to watch it, just like nobody forces us to read the countless threads on this forum either…I don’t take it too seriously, I don’t think anyone is meant to. It’s 30 minutes a week mild entertainment for those into the hobby and with some good photography/HiFi porn thrown in for good measure. I find it interesting to see someone else’s journey. He’s been heavily into the concept of all-in-one streaming active speakers in recent years and now seems to be coming back around to analog passive systems.
He has a Patreon channel but I don’t read too much into that. He puts time and effort into it and has a number of people who are paid by the channel to help produce the professional looking content.
