Not sure it is overpriced when you consider what you are getting

Fair point and they will be really well produced sets... but if you want the Isle of Wight Concert you will need to order the deluxe cd version as well. I'm glad I'm not a Dylan completest.

I'm a big fan of the Bootleg Series, Vol 8 in particular, I prefer many of the versions to the ones chosen for the albums.

It is quite possible to purchase/enjoy the Bob you wish to 'have', and to hear etc the Bob you do not wish to have.

Recently the old codger has performed a first-timer cover 'Suzie baby' (which is available to hear etc on web), and 2 others on 14th and 15th of July which apparently no-one recorded/is sharing (yet...). '1952 Vincent Black Lightning' and 'Twelve/12 Gates To/Into The City'.

When I have his current-tour otherwise-unavailable '1st-timer' stuff to 'hear', I shall consider whether to buy at end of August Bootleg 10 (obviously, being a sucker I have bought all of the previous).

Somehow, the original attractions of proper bootleg (booze etc) look mighty darn attractive ...

And as for vinyl, please remain aware that most 'recent' vinyl is not analogue, and CD-or-better digital is a superior buy.

IOW video can be found otherwise.

... Ta, I have audios from past of Dylan doing 'The weight', and have seen/heard his recent re-enactments via web-links ...

I am a saddo who - whilst happy to fork out for-enjoy what is on sale - frequently searches for the 'one-off' unavailable ...

Because of the natural demise over past few years of worthy Dylan-sharing sites, I tend now to use 'Expecting Rain' and its sub-sections, as well as 'Setlist FM' - Soundcloud audio etc sharing - Dimeadozen torrent site. My unpurchasable Dylan is shared often via Soulseek.
