I drew the short straw and ended up taking my two teenage granddaughters and SWMBO to see Ed Sheeran last night. As a spectacle it was absolutely brilliant I have to say. A one man performance using a guitar and loop pedals in front of 60,000 people he was absolutely on top form and the girls absolutely loved it. OK most of his songs sound bland and repetitive but I came away with quite a bit of respect for him and his ability to hold such a huge audience in the palm of his hand. I’ll not be buying any of his records though …
