I'm toying with idea of matching my electrocompaniet system with some PMC ib2i or ATC 50 classics. Have any of you guys tried such a combo, and if so was it any good or was it a flop! The system is Ecd2 Dac ,4.8 pre & aw250r power amp. I'm not sure what the natural timbre of these speakers are so advice would be great. The better half of the house doesn't like conventional floor standers but it seems for some reason that the Ib2is or ATC50 classic are fine!! My room is 5x6 m with an open staircase and an opening onto another room.
