I purchased this kit brand new around six months ago mainly out of a 'low risk' curiosity to see if I could hear what all the fuss regarding these boxes was all about.
Apparently Entreq introduced these kits in August 2021 as a 'low cost' entry into their ground box world. The kits are complete with a ground cable and allow a choice of different 'click-on' connectors to be fitted to suit individual requirements. According to Entreq the boxes used on these kits are improved versions of their previous entry boxes and the macro kit sits above the micro kit in their range.
In my experience there were no firework 'night and day' differences to be heard with the box in my system but I did think things sounded a bit smoother. However, the surprise for me was leaving the room where my system was playing and then returning to realise just how loud my system had been playing with no aural discomfort. It was evident that the box was doing something after all.
I am sufficiently impressed to want to hear what the (considerably) more expensive boxes might offer and so this one is now available to anyone else that might want to give one a go.
