Well done on promotion - I remember Sean Kerly's lot on tellie winning us Gold ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Kerly/ )have enjoyed bits of current ladies-blokes on Eurosport whilst there is nothing footie-crick-rugger on my almost-Freeview TV channels ...

Although I played as padded-etc goalie briefly in mixed-sexes and other match (2nd halff) in 1970/jumbled up to other end and scored a goal (Elmhurst Grammar, Street, Somerset).

I prefer old English 3 feet wide stick rather than whatever-half oriental hook-thang ... more chance to whack ball ...

Tougho Eng chaps - I watched instead the Germany-Holland game before ... Kerly was co-commentating on BBC cable 990 and I presume 'red button'. Eurosport didn't bother with semis ...

Seems as if Belgians have been pretty good in lassies and laddies compos.

Aye and England trounced 3-0 by Belgium. England pretty poor!

Eng did not do too badly really. Unlucky in Lady-final ... I still haven't seen new penalties vs old penalty-flicks ...

In my 1st secondary school, peeps who did not want to play rugger or footie went off to hock., but I know hock can be just as brutal/unforgiving ...

What is all this wack it against a foot to get pen.corner/pretend bully-off is extinct all about???
