External analog aktiv options for passive Akubarik

Is there a way to use passive Akubariks with external, active amplification without Exakt?

I was thinking of aktive crossover cards (CHAKT) or tuneboxes, Klimax style or other, but I could not find a single reference to the existence of such a thing.
Nor could I find any guide for converting the Akubarik or wiring up such a setup.

Can it be that the only options are the piggyback amp modules with or without Exakt? Wouldn't that make the Akubarik (and possibly the 'Dorik) the only Linn speakers that can not be driven the classic 'aktiv' way?

There wasn’t an analogue Klimax crossover, only exakt Klimax and akurate. There are dealer instructions to convert from passive to aktiv and involves swapping 6 plug positions.

There is an oversight somewhere around this forum with all the chakt cards numbers and designations, I could not find it fast enough although I figure there would be chakt cards available since the Akubarik is originally a pre-Exakt design.

Converting passive Akubariks to Aktiv or Exakt is the same operation.

I have luck sometimes Interested to hear how you will go on in this matter since I’m a happy owner of passive Akubariks. But upgradeitis can strike unexpectedly.

I have converted my passive Akubariks to active and am using a 4100 and a 6100 with the active cards. I can send you the conversion manual, if you need it. I have never seen a Klimax or Akurate Tunebox for Akubariks, but maybe they exist. Must be very rare though.

I had only the bass active at first in my Akubariks, it was an improvement...
