Hi All

Can anyone recommend a decent and reliable external optical drive as the one in my imac is playing up. I'm a bit hesitant to buy the Apple superdrive as its received mixed reviews. I'm re-ripping a lot of my music and for some reason certain CD's are causing itunes to crash. I've tried a few things that i've found on the net to try and resolve the problem but so far have been unsuccessful.

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Ed

Had it over two & a half years so it seems reliable enough. :^ .

Thank goodness since 1998 all of the 4 desktops I have bought I ensure have 2 internal optical DVD/REWRITERS installed /buy externals only for lappies etc...

Buy locally in real-world with meaningful warranty/get lucky ...
