Flikr and BT Yahoo

I am just about to change from BT Broadband to Bt Infinity and also found out that BT are to end their partnership with Yahoo.

This partnership gave a free pro account on Flikr that i understand will also end and be reverted to a free (1Tb) plus ads account.

My login to Flikr is automatic via BT Yahoo and that will aslo ends. I can get no sense out of either BT or flikr about how I will be able to log in as of next month when BT and Yahoo part their ways.

Anyone in a similar position but already made the transistion to BT Infinity and BT.com?

Not told of any change recently but a few months back got told my Flicker account would be unchanged. Have you had an email recently Bob ?

The mail I had said existing customers with a pro account would be on 1tb no ads.

I can understand the existing customers bit. However the deal was between flikr and btyahoo. BT is ditching the yahoo e mail addresses next month along withe the yahoo home page. All btyahoo users will go to a bt.com e mail address. I e mailed flikr and they were clueless as were bt.

Ah right. Mine is and has always been a BT mail Addy. Ditching the yahoo home page wouldn't be a loss like ...

I will see what happens as i'm making the switch to bt infinity next week. The worse that can happen is that i get some ads.

I will change my e mail address on flikr to my Live addy and see if i can still log on outside of yahoo. My current bt addy will change from btinternet.com to bt.com i think.

Flickr and yahoo are a pain in the arse, I lost access to my account when I had to go through yahoo and had to set up a new one.

Tried the flikr forum and everyone keeps gettting the same reply from flikr, about as useful sas a chocolate fireguard.
