I like the look of the first one, the menu has lots of interesting stuff and it seems a bit more "authentic" than the second one? Problem I suppose will be if they can handle a party of 15 hungry Wammers with big appetites

Not convinced about authenticity if it describes Balti as a traditional Kashmiri dish - Balti was invented in Brum :ROFLMAO:

Seriously - both look like they would be good - I suspect the decider will be which one can cope with a big group on a Friday night.

If the Bollyeood is part of a chain or the buffet one, then if its anything like the ones I've been to it will be utter garbage.
Thin almost tasteless sauces, pieces of meat the size of oxo cubes and minimal quantity.
Very formulaic boil in the bag curries. YUK!!!

Any locals wish to comment?
I have no experience of Bollywood but I've had nice meals at the following:-

Sangam opposite Stoke Minster. No more than a ten minute walk from the hotel. They don't serve alcohol but will provide glasses if you take your own.

Kismet in Hartshill. A ten minute drive from the hotel. They do serve alcohol and you can park outside.

Basmati in Newcastle. Half a mile further along from the Kismet. They also serve alcohol and a selection of ice cream desserts. Parking available behind the baths opposite.

All venues should be able to accommodate fifteen persons.
