A few pints of IPA always improves the sound, I find.I clean all my plugs every 6 months with some Brasso and then IPA.

A few pints of pure alcohol would change quite a lot, fuses would be the least of your concerns.A few pints of IPA always improves the sound, I find.
If you keep sitting on the fence like this you will just wear a hole in your stridesI am Totally positive that Audiofool fuses are a total pile of utter bollocks and here is a totally positive thumbs up (two in fact) 👍👍 just to be positive.

The Bussmann fuses are only about 25-50p each, so hardly audiophool territory.Oh stop it - actually, please don't .........![]()

Perhaps a bit of a misunderstanding here - My comment was based on my appreciation of the humour as I saw it in lazycat's post and not about Bussman fuses per se.The Bussmann fuses are only about 25-50p each, so hardly audiophool territory.

That's not even the most expensive version. For the ultimate in 'improvement' for fuses, you need to cough up £4200. Each.Get yourself a few of these for your system ....... Well worth is as you get a fancy box !!!
F-Fusesake that's ridiculous! That's not even the most expensive version. For the ultimate in 'improvement' for fuses, you need to cough up £4200. Each.

Do you know of any manufacturer of 'audiophile' fuses that provides evidence of compliance with the relevant UK safety standard? I can't quickly see anything on the Synergistic Research website to suggest this is the case for example.

Q: Are fuses directional?
A: Yes, fuses are directional. Electricity should flow from the left to the right when you view the fuse. If you do not know the direction of flow you should listen to the fuse inserted in both directions. One direction will sound more detailed. This is the correct way.
Q: Do fuses have a burn in period?
A: Yes, most products have a settling in period. The first 200-300 hours of use are the most crucial.
It blows your money...🤣So what does a “Foo”se do that a standard fuse does not?
