Thought I'd try this here knowing that Wammers are coffee connoisseurs and that barista machinery comes a close second to hifi kit!
I bought this machine new in the mid 2000s, and used it on average two or three times a week until around 2012 when we had our kitchen re-done and then it went into storage when my wife bought me a Sage. Its coffee is no better than the Gaggia's, but given it was a present felt it should take precedence. I then decided to take the Gaggia over to a house we were using in France, and so I took it to the Gaggia service agents in Huddersfield in 2019 (https://www.gaggiadirect.com/) who gave it a full service, replacing several parts and PAT testing it at a cost of £130. In the end it was never used in France because of Covid and lock-downs so I have just retrieved it - unused since its 2019 service. It is in super condition in gleaming stainless steel, no scratches or dings, all parts and manual plus I replaced the plastic tamper with a better quality aluminium one that works for both sizes of filter.
I do not have the original packaging, which was not very robust - so ideally collection in Liverpool or meet within reasonable distance - I'd be reluctant to send it via courier.
Price-wise, these are sought after and I think the last one on PFM went for £150; on e-Bay they can go for considerably more even when not serviced/reconditioned. Given this has been serviced at some expense and should give another 10+ years' service, I'd be looking for £185.
