WTD Genelec 8050.

Bit of a long shot but if anyone has a pair of Genelec 8050 they are looking to sell please PM me. I have the 8040b and want to move up the chain.

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't the 165mm midbass on the 8040 give you better midrange than the 200mm on the 8050?

I'm always a bit suspicious of 2-ways with a 200mm (8") mid-bass.

Possibly, I’ve not actually heard them but it’s hard to get a demo. I’ve moved to a bigger room and wonder if the extra power and bass extension will be an improvement. Genelec’s in my experience are pretty consistent and it’s a small jump but I’m interested to try. They have three ways available but they are out of my price range.
