Have naim xs amp - what speakers & source for small room system

Hi guys

I currently have a naim nait xs integrated amp. I am looking to get a source for this ( will use spotify mostly but other features would be nice) and some speakers. It is for a bedroom so would like some speakers that excel at low volume levels, and that are good with bass and easy to listen to for long periods.

any suggestions.?

If you wish to stream the obvious choice is the Naim ND5. Speakers with Naim for a bedroom Neat Iota. Great music. - enjoy

Also look at ELAC's BS243. Compact dimensions yet sounds very big. The ribbon tweeter would complement the XS's slightly smoothed-off top.

I would second Neat speakers. I have also used Proac speakers with very good effect with my Nait XS. Both Neats and Proacs should give you good bass. Also tried Rega's which very lively and fun but not as full a sound as the Proacs - so bit sure if it will suit low volume listening.

Harbeths may be great for low volume listening but not sure if it will meet your bass needs.

I would also look at Epos ES14s. I tried a pair of ES11s with an XS and was surprised how good it sounded.

Von schweikert VR1, Ruark epilogue R and budget a hundred quid in for target R series stands, totem Arro,(not stand mounts but take up very little room and are just superb. Leema zero (look great in ebony),neat petite, Audio note AX2.... I've heard all these with Naim kit and all were good in different ways.

Yes Elac BS standmounts are lovely, that tweeter is superb.

I use a Rega DAC with my Nait XS. I quite like the combination using CD or PC through USB.

Also the Arcam rBlink works well - I like the convenience of streaming from my phone or iPad via Bluetooth using Spotify.
