Headphone amp or ming da valve amp

Which is likely to be better?

using the headphone socket on my valve amp or a little dot or similar?

I own both a Ming Da integrated and a Little Dot headphone amp.

I also have a Quad 44 pre and Quad 405's + Quad 11's which I like to change around.

The headphone out from the Ming Da is very good, I would not connect up the Little Dot as an alternative in this particular scenario.
