Heavy duty wall socket

so got a gutwire consummate ground cable but when inserted into the wall socket the plug and cable are bending back at an angle

does anyon3 know of any heavy duty sockets that can take the weight? anyone got experience of the furutech sockets?

Does the cable come out perpendicular to the wall?
If so, try putting some kind of support under the cable.

Failing that, try a Furutech NCF Booster

A furutech would probably provide a better grip compared to the mains socket you already have.

My jps labs aluminata power cables did this... How ridiculous, do yourself and all concerned a favour and chuck the stupid things in the bin

It's crap like this that gives hifi a bad name

The way I got around it near the end was to plug a gangway socket into the wall socket and leave the gangway on the floor hence your fancy dancies are then vertically plugged in... no half hanging or falling out of the wall socket... Dew dew Bach

yes i used to have BIG heavy virtual dynamics and the furutech sockets really grip !!
