That's probably due to the terrible ad. or people not knowing about Heco.

Never heard Heco speakers and they seem cheap enough, are they as good as some folk on here say?

Heco as was went down in the late 90's. Heco now is owned by Audiovox in Germany who also produce Magnat. These are from the original company and may be more traditionally 'German' in sound. The price is reasonable but bear in mind that Heco as it is now inherited no old stock drivers when they took the brand on so any failures would need repair rather than replacement.

The seller is 15 mins drive away from me, but I'd be surprised if he'd set up a demo.

Googled 'Heco 430' but not much info out there.

Anyone heard or know what characteristics this speaker produces?

The naked pic looks interesting enough, especially for £50 ota.

The range was Heco Interior. That search brings up a few bits on these.

Bob khapak's Heco Celan 300 standmounts at Scalford this year were superb imho.

Yes, they are very good and if they were twice the price they'd sell more of them.
