Help/Naim 272

I need the help of a Wammer, I want to install the last update to my Naim 272 pre/streamer, it can only be done with a PC or Mac, I only have ipads, which is of no use.
Is there anyone local to me in ideally Bedworth, Warwickshire or Coventry that can perform such a task. Drivers from Naim would have to be downloaded from their site.

I want to stream from Tidal, and to do this the last/latest update needs to be installed. I have the obligatory mini sub cable to use from a pc to do this, I no longer have a pc. I have tried to do it from my work PC but our antivirus won't allow me to install the drivers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Tidal streaming on the 272 was introduced some years ago (there was a further update last year wrt a new Tidal login requirement). Your firmware may well be quite a few iterations out of date (current is 4.8). You might have to go step by step on the update , rather than straight from where you are to 4.8.

You may well be better off approaching your local Naim dealer and see if they'll do it for you for a nominal (or no) charge.

My 272 was the last of the breed, so it's running the previous software to the current one, the only reason I bought it was the price and I thought there wouldn't be anymore software updates on these older streaming platforms, it has Tidal it's just not possible apparently without the update.
