My old Luxman M-02 has been sat unused for the last year or so and I thought I might drag it out and hook it up for awhile. However the moment i switched it on it went pop. I opened up the beast and the fuse on the power circuit has blown. Rightly or wrongly I replaced the fuse. I thought it might just be the accumulation of dust inside so after a quick clean I tried again and same again the fuse blew.

Twice was enough so now I need to find someone to take a look at it. It was working happily before so hopefully won't be too much wrong. Is there anybody local (ish) to Berkhamsted Herts who would be good for vintage stuff. I would prefer to take it to them myself as it weighs a ton and packaging could be problematic.

Cheers

Be picky about the repairer as almost all original transistors and diodes will be unavailable for this amp, and proper replacements are normally sourced stateside.
