Help - What price for B&W 704

I have spotted an immaculate set of B&W 704 speakers about 8/9 years old and the asking is c. 50% of the original price. Any views as to whether this is a good deal or not. I have not been in HiFi for a good number of years and starting to re-build. My gut feel is that the price is a bit steep. Any help much appreciated.

great speakers would that be about £900-£1000 price point if so look for some matrix 804 fantastic speaker:^
