Help with genre, please. Thank you!

I would be very grateful for help to find out more about the genre of music playing at the very beginning of this video:

Neither do I specifically like, nor dislike this show. I am providing it as a clue for the music style I am interested in - kind of rhythmic and dynamic (danceable) jazz, with pronounced bass. The pronounced bass and its lively rhythm is what I (and many others) find most appealing, when occasionally hearing it in certain clubs.

To all those willing to help...

What genre is this and which authors and bands should I look for, please?

Not sure why the restriction on your end. Could be that it is a UK show and UK residents are not allowed to watch it on YouTube.

The show in question is "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (UK Version)" / Season 2, Ep. 4 "La Riviera".

The link I provided is about Ramsay's revisiting La Riviera after months, but the background music is the same as in the original episode.
