Hi everyone, thanks for any help here. I'm completely re-building a set of Realistic (Tandy) T200 speakers - basically just re-using the cabinets. The original drivers were 2 X 10 inch full range speakers, a 6.5 inch midrange and a tweeter in each cabinet. I'm replace the 10 inch with dedicated woofers connected to a three way crossover, new midrange and new tweeters.
Question: the original ten inch drivers were wired "cross" or "out" of phase (positive-negative on one 10 inch, negative-positive on the other in the same cabinet) I assume so they push-pulled in opposite actions to each other. Since I'm putting a proper crossover into the signal path do you think I should also wire the woofers like this? Or should I now wire the phase the same on both woofers?
These cabinets are sealed with no porting, by the way.
Thanks again, GH.
