Wanted High end DAC

I’m on the hunt for a new DAC. I’ve a healthy budget (£5k+) for the right deal, but not wedded to spending that much. Wouldn’t mind trying a Terminator, or a Dave or perhaps a Tambaqui.

If you’re thinking about moving something on which might suit let me know. Thanks

That price is a real bargain and in my books is much better than the other two DACs you mention. Don’t forget that the Dave has an excellent volume control function so you don’t need to spend extra on a pre amp.

Don’t rule out a Bricasti M3 (MDx version) better than an M1 unless you listen to soley classical music and gives the Dave a run for its money with arguably better tone across recordings and genres

I havent heard the Bricasti M3 (either version) but I sold my Bricasti M1SE to get my Dave and the Dave was in a different ball park as far as I was concerned.
