How to copy videos from YouTube

As per title, please can you advise re what programs are out there that enable you to copy videos from YouTube to your PC.

The Firefox browser has a little add on that does this very thing.

I use this on the Mac version and it works a treat.

Been using that for years. Downloads quickly and has multiple quality/format options. It's the top link under 'Main Downloads' .

For most YouTube etc things that I actually want to download as vids. rather than simply recording/screeen-vid saving, I almost always successfully use:

http://fetchvideo.com/

Just wait a while till you can choose your d'load format ...

Some vids. as implied will not d'load ...

There are FREE effective vid. moving-pic-sound progs. also ...

I think that - if forced to - I occasionally use fresh-install of Debut Video Capture ...

YouTube Downloader.

Things change, and at times some fine progs. do not work, and others do ...

I still obtain what I require from progs. mentioned on my earlier posts - DIFFERENT THINGS REQUIRE DIFFERENT PROGS at times ...
