This! :^ The 109's will make a nice upgrade for someone else, what you propose will just mess up the AE's structurally/sonically. Far better to get summat fit for purpose for wall mounting. I have a set of Epos ELS8's in great condition that I'll be moving on shortly, but for kitchen use on brackets I'd have thought summat even more compact & front ported would be a better fit TBPH.Now that I've got Paulieb's proac's I was wondering what to do with my ae109's as they are probably worth nout. Can I chop the cabs down so that I can use them on the wall brackets in my kitchen or will this prove a futile measure sonically?
