Kef LS60 audition

Hi all , the wife’s away for a few days so I am having a solo music festival, but this morning I did have to venture out and went to the 50th birthday event at my local Sevenoaks sound & vision . KEF being local sent a couple of “techies” rather than salesmen , and I had a really good technical presentation of the Kef LS60 and what it could do , I must say that as someone who has been dismissive of the “active” class D wireless speaker , I was really impressed not only with the sound of the speaker but also your ability to “customise” the sound to your own preferences and room . If you get the chance and have £6k burning a hole in your pocket , give them a listen.

They do have an AB amp to the treble.

I have heard they are very impressive - hope to get a listen sometime.

Sounded really good at the nw hifi show,and at a decent amount of volume.

Yes they do have class A/B (100w) to the tweeter but it’s class D that does the heavy lifting (700w) to mids and bass, and it’s the clever speaker design and use of class D (less heat and physical space) that enables such a slim design with such an expansive sound.
