My question is, a pair of Klimax Twin amps bi - wired or just a pair of Solos in my passive Akubarik system. I cannot afford four Solos. Would I notice a big improvement with two Twins over a normal wired two Solo amp passive system?
Solos are much loved here. They are much more than just Twin plus!

Had Twin, then Solos.
Solos do have a special quality in sound reproduction, that cannot be described in categories of "more", as in "more multiamping = more resolution, bass, room information, .. you name it."
It's more like a subtle quality you get in love with and then never want to lose again.
Only one way to find out: Get a 2nd Twin and a pair of Solos and try it at home. Every serious Klimax-Dealer should be happy to arrange for that test.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. Subtlety is indeed the word. I loved my Twin, but the Solos are so much more revealing yet natural. No thrills, just more from the music. I won’t be parted from mine.
